Terms of use for Berkati
Last updated 4 November 2026
These terms apply to Berkati, the private service described on the Google access page. It is operated by Abdelbaki Berkati, personally. By signing in with an invitation, you accept them.
1. Invitation only, no charge
Berkati is open only to people I invite: my team, partners and collaborators. It is free, not sold and not offered to the public. An invitation is personal and cannot be passed on.
2. What the service does
Berkati lets your AI assistant, Claude, work with the Google accounts you link, as described on the Google access page. It acts only on requests made through your assistant and with the permissions you granted on Google's consent screen.
3. Your responsibilities
- Link only Google accounts you are entitled to use, and respect the rules of the organisation that owns any work or school account you link.
- Keep your Google account secure. Anyone who can sign in to the Google account you used for your Berkati workspace can use that workspace.
- You are responsible for what you ask your assistant to do, including messages it sends or files it changes for you. Review actions your assistant asks you to approve.
- Do not use Berkati for anything unlawful, to send spam, to harm others, to bypass limits, or to attack or overload the service or Google's services.
- Follow the Google Terms of Service and the terms of your AI assistant provider.
4. Your data
How Google data is handled is set out in the Privacy policy, which is part of these terms. You can remove access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions and ask me to delete your workspace.
5. Availability and changes
The service is provided on a best-effort basis, with no guarantee of availability, speed or support. I may change, limit, suspend or stop it, or remove a user, at any time, including if these terms are broken.
6. No warranty, limited liability
Berkati is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Software can fail, and an AI assistant can misunderstand an instruction. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for loss or damage arising from the use of the service, including lost, changed or sent data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms and will change the date above. Continuing to use Berkati after an update means you accept it.
